Sparrows – plain, brown little birds – are cheap in the world’s eyes (Luke 12:6). God doesn’t see them that way. In fact, He sees and cares when each one falls from the sky.
He cares even more for us. Our lives are a love story. God’s showing us – His sparrows – that He loved us enough to make us, die for us, and mold us into a people after His own heart.
My name is Ashley Rowland. I’m no stranger to the comparing-myself-to-others/not-measuring-up vortex. I’m a horse-loving, reformed Mountain-Dew addict, wife, and step-mother to three treasures. I know God is using me – my experiences – to show that I’m His sparrow. Loved. Cherished.
So are you if you’ve accepted Jesus as your Savior. If you haven’t, God’s arms are open. I urge you to read my page Weary Sparrow. I hope by sharing my life and being a part of yours, we’ll all grow closer to the Father.
I’m so excited you’re here, and I can’t wait to hear from you! Feel free to comment on posts, and find me on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. All I ask is that everyone follow Jesus’ example – treat others as you’d like to be treated. 🙂
